Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, the 2023 governorship candidate of APC in Adamawa State, has resigned from the party effective July 19, 2025. In a letter addressed to the party chairman, Binani expressed gratitude for the opportunities she had to serve at various levels. The resignation comes after her loss in the 2023 gubernatorial election.
